Patrick Harty, MD

Dr. Patrick Harty is a nationally recognized interventional radiologist with nearly two decades of experience in pioneering outpatient vascular care. After serving as the Chief of Interventional Radiology for one of California's largest medical groups, Dr. Harty returned to Omaha to bring his "patient-first" outpatient model to the MIC Imaging & Procedure Center.

A graduate of Creighton University School of Medicine, Dr. Harty’s career has been defined by his mastery of the vascular system. He is a leading expert in employing sophisticated, non-surgical embolization techniques for managing conditions such as fibroids. Dr. Harty utilizes precision-guided embolization methods, paralleling those used in complex arterial disease, to target the blood supply of fibroids, offering a "no-cut" alternative to traditional surgical approaches.

Dr. Harty’s philosophy is built on innovation and education; he teaches vascular techniques both locally and nationally. At MIC, he leverages this expertise to offer Omaha patients a discreet, office-based procedure that eliminates the need for general anesthesia or the painful recovery associated with hospital-based surgeries for fibroids.

Personal Interests: Outside of the clinic, Dr. Harty is an elite-level athlete, having competed in the CrossFit Games team finals and participating in gravel racing.
